Hi Divas!
Big thanks to everyone for all your thoughts and prayers while Landry was in the hospital and I recovered from surgery. Everyone has been so kind to us this past month. God has really been working in our lives and blessing us through each of you. I am back in the store and can't wait to catch up with everyone. Have you seen all the new products Shelly ordered while I was out?? Everything is FABULOUS!!!! Come get before all the goblins come in and snatch it all up! 2010 promises to be a year full of adventure and challenges. A few years ago I wanted to change my attitude about the year ahead, so I decided to scrapbook the wonderful things that were going happen to me that year. My whole outlook changed and made the year an adventure as both big and small events became “wonderful things” to be recorded in my album.
The song, “Pennies From Heaven” inspired the new album I’ll be using this year. I’m going to be recording the “pennies” that are sent to me from Heaven to help me see all the good things that are happening. By looking at the encouraging reminders I’ll record in my new album, the year won’t pass by in a blur and little things will gain significance because I will be more aware and will be looking for those “pennies.” (Some students already know what “pennies from heaven” means to me from reading my blog, but if you don’t, I’ll tell you in class!) The theme can easily be changed to any kind of photo journal you’d like to have.
Not only will the album have a significant purpose, it will also be filled with innovative techniques and wonderful products from 7gypsies. We’ll make our own album using the Binderie punch with sections for each month of the year: a nostalgic assemblage of pockets (12 different ones… a different pocket for every month of the year!), overlays, papers and bits of this and that.

Student supply list: Please bring the following items to class: Binderie punch, 12” paper trimmer, tape runner adhesive, scissors, ruler, pencil, scoring tool (stylus or bone folder), glue dots, sanding block, Tiny attacher stapler, “Vintage Photo” Distress Ink, ink blending tool, craft mat, acrylic block for stamping (at least 2”x 4 ½”), “Jet Black” Archival Ink pad, quick drying liquid glue.

I hope you are all recovered from the back-to-school rush. We have some very exciting news for you. Kit-a-Licious is now at our store there are 11 different Kits in the store this week. They will change them out weekly so stop by and see all their beautiful kits. Also we have a huge new shipment of new merchandise coming today New Christmas, Smooch Spritz and lots, lots, more. Cindy's new Class is on display it is from the Alice in Wonderland collection and August Cricut class has been scheduled so get signed up quickly. Don't forget to get your are spot for "Landry's Crop". Landry is Anette's daughter. She will turn 16 very soon and she has one of the rarest forms of Muscular Dystrophy. She raises money each year to help send kids to camp Sunshine and for research. Call the store to reserve your spot. 13 hours of cropping, 2 meals and lots of fun, prizes for $30.00 of which half will go to MDA .We will be at St.Andrew's Methodist Church 9a-10p Saturday August 28th. Scrap N on the River

Hi Divas!
Shelly and I are in Natchez, Ms at a scrapbooking event. We are having soooo much fun making friends and learning new technique's to teach you in our store. We wish you were all here but are very happy that some of our friends were able to spend the weekend with us. We have also been checking out all the new goodies that will be released at CHA next week. Just wait to you see all the stuff we are ordering for the store. But in the mean time come visit and check out all the new stuff we got in on Thursday. New Smooch Sprays, Western Paper, Mamarazzi re-order and lots, lots more. Mrs. Cindy will be teaching her famous Cricut class Saturday morning and a beautiful layout using Fancy Pants paper in the afternoon. Call the store to sign up for the layout class, there are very limited spaces available. The Cricut class is sold out. Be watching for the date for next months class.

I hope you have all recovered from our favorite holiday! I have to say it was a blast yesterday. Just a few dates to remind you about May 22 is Amy's class you can take her class 11am till 1p then crop for free till 10pm Her class is $25.00 and we will have pictures this week. May 27th and 28 th is the "Oh My Crafts Bus Tour" don't forget your seat on the Bus it will be leaving soon. Well last but not least there is tons of new merchandise in the store. The first 2 sessions of "Oh My Crafts" Bus Tour is SOLD OUT.
They have agreed to stay over and teach a third session. The classes will be the same as session 1 and 2. We are thrilled that they have decided to let us host them for a second day. So if you want to come now is your chance to get on the list.
A couple other bits of information for you:
National Scrapbooking day event May 1 at the Hampton Inn in Denham Springs cost is $30.00 includes 12 hours of cropping and 2 meals. Deposit of $15.00 holds your spot.
"Think Pink U" October 8-9 Debby Schuh will be here! Again we will be at the Hampton Inn in Denham Springs. Cost $125.00 price includes 2 days of cropping,2 meals and 3 Classes (2 layouts and Her Pennies from Heaven class). We have a payment structure for this event a $25.00 deposit and 3 payments afterward.
And last but not least we have Prima in and it is going fast!

Oh My Crafts Bus Tour!

Hey Divas,
Well,now that "Just Scrap it" is over we can move on to our next big event.
Mark your calenders for Thursday May 27th. Oh My Crafts Bus tour will make a stop at our store for classes using the Cricut! There will be 2 sessions. The first session starts at 12 noon and will last till 4:00pm. Followed by a free demonstration on the use of Vinyl. Then session 2 will start at 6:00pm till 10:00pm. Each session has 2 classes. The classes are $25.00 each. There is only room for 20 members in each session, so you need to sign up and pay the $15.00 deposit. We are already half full so make your plans early. We will have Cricut products and Cartridges available that day.
On another note we have lots of new merchandise in the store such as: Disney papers and embellishments along with lots of other new Products.
