I'm Back!

Hi Divas!
Big thanks to everyone for all your thoughts and prayers while Landry was in the hospital and I recovered from surgery. Everyone has been so kind to us this past month. God has really been working in our lives and blessing us through each of you. I am back in the store and can't wait to catch up with everyone. Have you seen all the new products Shelly ordered while I was out?? Everything is FABULOUS!!!! Come get before all the goblins come in and snatch it all up! 2010 promises to be a year full of adventure and challenges. A few years ago I wanted to change my attitude about the year ahead, so I decided to scrapbook the wonderful things that were going happen to me that year. My whole outlook changed and made the year an adventure as both big and small events became “wonderful things” to be recorded in my album.
The song, “Pennies From Heaven” inspired the new album I’ll be using this year. I’m going to be recording the “pennies” that are sent to me from Heaven to help me see all the good things that are happening. By looking at the encouraging reminders I’ll record in my new album, the year won’t pass by in a blur and little things will gain significance because I will be more aware and will be looking for those “pennies.” (Some students already know what “pennies from heaven” means to me from reading my blog, but if you don’t, I’ll tell you in class!) The theme can easily be changed to any kind of photo journal you’d like to have.
Not only will the album have a significant purpose, it will also be filled with innovative techniques and wonderful products from 7gypsies. We’ll make our own album using the Binderie punch with sections for each month of the year: a nostalgic assemblage of pockets (12 different ones… a different pocket for every month of the year!), overlays, papers and bits of this and that.

Student supply list: Please bring the following items to class: Binderie punch, 12” paper trimmer, tape runner adhesive, scissors, ruler, pencil, scoring tool (stylus or bone folder), glue dots, sanding block, Tiny attacher stapler, “Vintage Photo” Distress Ink, ink blending tool, craft mat, acrylic block for stamping (at least 2”x 4 ½”), “Jet Black” Archival Ink pad, quick drying liquid glue.

On the road again....

Guess where we will be going in November??? No clue... Ok, its almost 1,200 miles away by car (or should I say suburban pulling u-haul with 5 women).....
We are going to Great Scrapbook Events in BIRCH, MICHIGAN!

We have teamed up with those gals from Kit-a-licious. It will be a trip to scrapbook that's for sure!

We will also be attending Crop Connection in January in Pearl, MS.
